Responsibilities
This role involves application of the candidate’s knowledge of life insurance requirements management and skills in providing exceptional customer service. Selected candidates will be responsible for providing support and assistance to life insurance underwriting staff. Responsibilities will further include requirements management of collected data (around new and renewal accounts), as well as organizing reports and performing other administrative duties and tasks assigned by the manager.
- Assist in gathering / processing requirements for life insurance underwriting process
- Complete all deliverables in a timely and accurate manner
- Create necessary standard / ad hoc reports based on business requirements
Required Skill Sets
- LOMA designation is highly desirable
- Domain knowledge / experience in life and annuity insurance preferred
- Experience in underwriting support / case management preferred
- Experience in using medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to type 35-40 words per minute
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent team player
- Six months or more in life insurance back office function, claims, customer service, new business applications

Process Executive – Healthcare (Medical Claims Processing)

Responsibilities
Process Executives will apply their healthcare / claims processing knowledge. They will be responsible for processing specified medical claims in accordance with contract provisions, using established policies and procedures. They will be accountable for meeting accuracy and productivity targets. Candidates must have experience working in a production environment.
Required Skill Sets
- Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9 codes
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Knowledge of overall health plan processes, covering claims, providers, networks, and credentialing
- Deep process knowledge around claims, data entry (professional, institutional, dental) on one or more platforms, as well as claim adjustment, pend resolution, claim audit
- Exposure to government plans like Medicare / Medicaid / Tricare / Chip / VA / FEP / SHBP claims processing is a must
- Experience in any of the following legacy systems: NASCO, MHC, STAR, or Claims fact
- Two years of claim processing experience in a production environment
- Ability to type 40 words per minute

- Must possess good listening and problem solving skills
- Should have experience in pricing BPO deals
- Experience of transitioning offshore projects preferred
Experience:
A minimum of 14 years of work experience required with over eight years of expertise in effective delivery of Insurance BPO services, and over five years in the Insurance/ Reinsurance space.
