Infosys BPO has been a pioneer in creating and nurturing talent through various initiatives including Project Genesis and Industry Academia Partnership.

Project Genesis focuses on creating awareness and educating the teaching fraternity about the BPO industry and relevant skill sets. The project spans various states in India and focuses on suburban and rural areas. It equips teachers and lecturers to assist students through a Global Skills Enhancement curriculum.

The project has been successfully launched across Karnataka, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. Infosys BPO has trained over 3,164 lecturers, who in turn have trained over 1,02,257 students from 1,723 colleges.

Industry Academia Partnership is an extension of Project Genesis, which focuses on aligning the course curriculum of academia with industry requirements. Lecturers are trained on the Global Skills Enhancement curriculum. They in turn train students in phases ensuring that they are 'industry ready' when they graduate.
